How do I get a student card for UTS?
Getting your new student ID card is easy!
- Familiarise yourself with our UTS ID photo requirements.
- Upload your photograph via the CaptureME portal.
- Check your UTS webmail account for further instructions.
- If your photo is approved, you will receive an email with information on how you will receive your card.
How do I top up my UTS student card?
Recharging at a Recharge Station
You will need a valid UTS Student ID card and your bank card. Some recharge stations allow you to use cash. Step 1: Tap your Student ID card to log in. Step 3: PayWave or insert your bank card to complete the transaction and take your receipt.

What is an active fee sanction?
If you have a fee sanction, you have an outstanding debt(s) that requires your immediate attention. If it appears that the sanction has been imposed incorrectly, please contact the department who imposed it directly to have the problem rectified.
What is my student support number?
The Student Support Number (SSN) is the unique 13 digit reference number assigned to you by Student Finance and used for communication between Student Finance and the University. You can find your SSN at the top of your University or College Payment Advice document.
